Wood Veneer Edgebanding

It's unique -- because the wood veneer edgebanding is manufactured with an engineered hot-press system that laminates the finger jointed, premium veneer to Kraft paper backer.

This unique pressing system allows us to use a thermo acrylic adhesive which "cross links" to provide a superior bond.

The resin impregnated backer provides a five point advantage.

1. The backer stabilizes the wood to prevent splitting, tearing, and checking
2. The backer provides a superior bonding surface
3. The backer acts as a barrier between the finishing materials and the glue line.
4. At the finger joint a strong adhesive bond is achieved, eliminating popping of the fingers when the band is bent.
5. The backer provides a cleaner, smoother trim.

This system was designed to produce a Quality Wood Veneer Edgebanding. This process system is unique in the industry.

Real wood veneer edging is available with hot melt, with pressure sensitive, or without adhesive. It can be slit to any width up to 12 inches. Roll lengths are 250 lineal feet for pre-glued or pressure sensitive and 500 lineal feet for non-glued. 

All domestic and exotic species are available for custom jobs. Edging can be produced as cross-grain, profile wrapping, in non-standard widths, and with specific increments between finger joints.

Pre-finished wood edgebanding is designed for applications that demand the depth and beauty of natural wood veneers. Pre-finished wood edgebanding is manufactured with a UV, clear lacquered finish that ensures resistance to abrasion, to most chemicals, and provides a durable surface. 

The face is manufactured to endure direct heat which is necessary for pre-glued application. The use of pre-finished edgebanding eliminates the time, labor, and expense associated with finishing operations.

Thick wood edgebanding rolls are a multi-layered veneer. The rolls are produced by the lamination of 0.6mm layers with PVA glue. This product is surface-sanded on the face and rough-sanded on the back for good adhesion to the substrate. 

• Very flexible product due to the use of PVA between various layers
• Machines also capable of processing 3mm thick PVC in rolls will also be able to process 3mm thick wood edging

The unique manufacturing process of our Solid Thick Wood Edgebanding virtually eliminates warping, cracking, and cupping. A solid wood look is achieved when this edge is rounded and finished without the lines associated with a laminated product. This product is used for laboratory, dormitory, institutional, and government furniture. These applications demand a durable edge.

Strips can be applied by using an automatic edge-bander or hand applied with contact cement.
